Christmas Card using the Fireworks collection
Hi everyone, Lou here, just popping by today to share one of the cards made for the launch of the Jingle Bell Joy Collection on HOCHANDA. I have used the NEW collection with the beautiful dies.

You can see how I made the card on the HOCHANDA show below. Wind forward to 07:02:00 to see the demonstration in full.
MY PROJECT
I have used Nikky's Favourite Water Colour Card pack to create my card base & also stamping mat. I began by using Jingle Bells clear stamps to create my background & their placement was decided by the size & position of my circle frame. next I stamped the holly detail - from Deck the Halls clear stamps - and added to the background.
After layering up my stamped images, I placed the frame over the background but threaded the Ice Skates die cut through before sticking down. This way they dangle just why I wanted them to be. The skates have been both paper pieced & water coloured.
Using the banner from Posydoodles Basics Tag die set, I stamped the Christmas sentiment - from Smiley Snowman clear stamp set - and added with 3D foam pads. The "wishes" was added underneath and is part of the Super Sentiments clear stamp set ... now that is one very useful stamp set to own with 49 separate words!
A really quick(ish) card to make, which means you could use this design to batch make. Changes the colours & the design then changes again ... but stays the same too!
Until next time,
Lou
