Video tutorial on how to create a colourful card using watercolours, stamps and dies...

Lou here today and firstly, Happy 1st August everyone. Simply cannot believe how this year has developed wings and flown by...

Here's  a quick but effective way to colour a stamp set I am working with - "Queen of Hearts" DL Collage clear stamp set.


Although I have chosen to use water colours, this technique would work with all your different inks eg: distress, oxide or alternatively, using your alcohol marker pens.

Below are a selection of close up photos show casing different aspects of my finished card. You may notice that after I completed my card on the video, I have added a few "extras"; sequins and highlights using a white pen.

Your characters are modern and cheerful. 

They are not overly sweet like you often see. But not too much of an ironical style either. I love them very much. I'm just wondering whether I'd rather buy a digital pack or clear stamps.
